How long will my project take?
Once you approve your estimate, our schedule typically allows us to start the project within 2-3 months (not including Winter). Most projects take between 2-4 weeks to complete after we begin.
How much will it cost?
Costs vary depending on the project. For example, patios and retaining walls have different pricing structures based on materials and size, and water features may require additional customization. Contact us for a detailed estimate that is tailored to your needs.
How long will my estimate take?
We typically provide a free estimate within 2-3 weeks of your initial inquiry.
Do you offer warranties on your work?
Yes, we provide a one-year warranty on sprinklers, plants, and sod, including materials and labor. Pavers and retaining walls come with a three-year warranty.
How far in advance should I schedule a landscaping project?
Contact us 3-4 months before you want your project completed. For the best scheduling options, reach out during the winter.
Do you handle permits and approvals for larger projects?
Yes, though most residential projects don’t require permits. We also handle Blue Stakes notifications for utility marking.
What steps do you take to minimize disruption during the project?
We aim to keep the job site clean and organized, minimizing any inconveniences, like machinery or product in the road in front of your house. We clear driveways and walkways and thoroughly clean up after the project is finished.
Do you offer maintenance services after completing the project?
Not currently, but we hope to add maintenance services in the future.
Do you install or maintain ponds or other water features?
Yes, we install and maintain water features, including ponds. Many clients prefer pondless water features for easier upkeep. We also offer winterization and spring start-up services.
What is xeriscaping, and will it benefit my property?
Xeriscaping is a landscaping method that uses minimal water, often featuring native and water-wise plants, drip irrigation, and hardscaping. It reduces water use and annual maintenance while creating a visually interesting and eco-friendly yard.
Retaining Walls
Why is a retaining wall important?
Retaining walls protect your home and property from erosion and water damage while maximizing usable space for outdoor activities.
Does my yard need a retaining wall?
Retaining walls are beneficial if your yard is too steep to mow, you want to create level areas for hardscaping or recreation, or you have drainage issues such as water flowing toward your house or erosion affecting neighboring properties.
Patio Installation
What materials can be used to build my patio?
We offer a range of materials, including interlocking pavers, concrete, stamped concrete, and compacted road base/gravel.
How much space do I need for a fire pit or pergola?
A minimum area of about 15′ by 15′ is recommended for these features.
Can you repair or expand an existing patio or retaining wall?
Yes, we can typically expand patios and walls. Repairs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, with paver patios being the easiest to fix.
Design
Do you create custom designs for unique outdoor spaces?
Yes, we specialize in creating custom landscaping designs that meet your specific needs and preferences.
Can you help me design a landscape that fits my budget?
Yes, we can tailor our designs to align with your budget while maintaining quality and functionality.
Do you provide 3D renderings or sketches before starting the project?
Yes, we offer detailed CAD plans starting at $600, with optional 3D models available for an additional fee. Basic concept plans are provided for bidding purposes if we are hired.
Can you help me design my backyard or outdoor space?
Yes! We use CAD drawings, drones, and county parcel zoning photos to create accurate, customized designs for your outdoor space.
Sprinkler Repair
How do I know if my sprinkler system needs to be replaced or repaired?
Systems over 20 years old with continuous problems may need replacement. However, most systems can be repaired and restored to functionality.
Can you install water-saving irrigation systems?
Absolutely. We use point-source drip irrigation for plant beds, high-efficiency nozzles for lawns, and smart controllers that optimize water use.
Do you repair sprinkler systems for residential and commercial properties?
Yes, we offer sprinkler repair services for both residential and commercial clients.
